Panoramic photos are twice as wide as they are high and thus have an aspect ratio of 2:1. 

What is the best lens for panoramic photography?

The beauty behind panoramic photographs is the sheer amount of detail that is visible when viewing the image. This makes wide-angle lenses redundant. Instead, we recommend using a standard 50mm lens to capture the perfect panoramic image.

How do you take a panoramic photo on your phone?

Apple and Android users will be delighted to know that the majority of smartphones have a panoramic mode built into the camera. To take a panoramic photo on your phone, begin by opening the camera and placing it into pano mode. Then hold the phone vertically or horizontally and press the shutter button. This will start capturing the panoramic photo. After that, slowly and steadily slide your phone to capture the scene and once again hit the shutter button to save the photo. 

If your phone camera does not have a built-in panoramic mode, then do not worry as there are a multitude of apps available to download.
